Why is retinal imaging important?

Detecting abnormalities that need urgent care or long-term monitoring is important to both your eye health and able to detect up to 157 diseases in the body.

Protect your vision.

An optomap helps us to detect early signs of vision impairment and may help us identify other early signs of diseases like cancer, stroke, and cardiovascular disease. Under normal conditions, dilation drops may not be necessary.

Our office uses an ultra-widefield retinal imaging device with integrated OCT, Monaco produces a 200° single-capture optomap image in less than ½ second.

Hate the air puff test?

We feel your pain so we use the latest rebound technology to measure IOP (intra-orifice pressure) without having to subject our patients to the traditional air puff test. Unique technology enables safe, painless and hygienic IOP measurement with the Icare® rebound tonometer.
